A World of Silence

Yesterday I turned on my computer to listen to some music while I was cleaning the house and my computer failed to make any noise at all. Just like that my computer has turned into a mute. Gone are the days of watching movies on my laptop. We have some good memories; watching the Gilmore Girls on the way to New York, watching the Big Labowski in a cabin that Steve and I rented for his birthday, or just sitting in my room watching a movie when the TV room was unavailable. I sit here and stare at the silent screen and begin to wonder if it’s time for me to get a new computer.
